"Well then, all the more reason for going since I bet you've got some moves with those legs of yours, love."

Ted glancing back towards Mikkel in the back seat with his boyfriend and then Mick sat beside Fredrik. What a night it was going to be! Mick just hoped his father wouldn't make a huge fool of himself in front of everyone...

"Ziggy has long legs and so does Jack. Oh, you haven't met Jack yet have you, dad?"

Oh god. Jack. What meeting would that be? Utter fucking trash is what.

"No, I haven't. Ziggy's brother? Should be good when I do."

"Aarne, you could come dance with me." Mikkel was teasing but the Fin got excited.

"We should. Fredrik could take pictures for Joe and Sigurd." Aarne was all up for trouble.

"Jack's a prostitute." Aarne just spit it out.

"He's a dancer too." Mikkel threw in while they were talking about Ziggy's brother.

Mick knew that his father would end up in big trouble if he started drinking heavily and getting up onto the pole. This still could happen and it just caused the guitarist to cringe slightly. They'd have to hide it from Elsie somehow.

"I'll take photos!"

Fredrik agreeing to this, now nuzzling into Mikkel's neck trying not to shove the Dane too much into Mick. Ted nearly choked at hearing this about Ziggy's brother. A---what?

"Fuck, what?! A prostitute? As in a real brothel banger?"

Mick just rolled his eyes and wanted to slap his dad on the shoulder but couldn't quite reach from where he was sat at the back.

Mikkel was giggling from Fredrik nuzzling until Ted came out with what he said. The older Ronno was about to understand why Mikkel was called a brat.

"Well, like me, he didn't have a fucking choice but to sell his body." The snap and sass is there in the Dane's voice. "Where he lives they kill people for being like us. They tried to kill Damien for being gay."

Aarne clamped his mouth shut and glanced at Ted. He knew better than to even respond to the Dane.

Mick just winced internally because his father had no idea about Jack or the world he came from and now he'd upset Mikkel with his loud mouth. Fuck. Ted just not expecting the young Dane girl to snap at him for saying a joke about prostitutes. She had to sell her own body? Gods, how old was she?

"Sorry, lass. I wasn't intending any insult about you or Jack."

Ted just shrugged and didn't know what else to say so just stared out of the window while they drove. He was new and didn't know the ins and outs of everyone's past or who they were, aside from those he'd just met.

"He didn't mean anything by it, mate. His big bloody mouth is what."

Mick sighed and watched Fredrik stroke Mikkel's cheek and kiss his neck, snuggling close. Mr. Ronno would soon understand so to not upset anyone without meaning to.

"It's just his job. He's got a boyfriend." Mikkel thought that mattered for some reason. It mattered to him when people treated him like trash too even if he didn't understand why. The Dane nuzzled in against Fredrik so he could calm down. The snapping was unintentional.

Aarne sighed and started looking for somewhere to park. "That's why we call Mikkel the brat. You'll get used to the defensiveness. It's not you but how alot of the Danes grew up. It was.. bad." Aarne thought explaining to Ted now might make things easier in the future since the others sometimes got upset easily too.

"I understand, love. We do what we must to survive in this world, eh? At least he's got someone to look after him and love him."

Ted wondered who this boyfriend was of Jack's but he decided not to poke into that right now. Today was about spending time with everyone, getting to know everybody and having some fun out in LA. Mikkel was the brat. She certainly had a mouth on her!

"How's our Mick behave once he's had a few drinks in him?"

Mick now shooting a look to his dad, trying not to smirk, because he knew his father was enticing trouble.

"A lot of us have done.. things." Aarne pointed out. He'd been more or less a whore when he was younger, so was Sven and some of the others did questionable things to get by too.

"He strips and tells me about pussy and legs before I have to carry him to bed."

Mikkel started to laugh. "None of the Brits can handle Mule."

Ted just had to try and guess what Aarne meant by things so just nodded and focused his attention on Aarne for a moment or two before looking out of the window. The girls had obviously had a hard time with life and it couldn't have been easy since they were both so young.

"Oh, he does? Mick Ronno, you dirty little bastard."

Mick laughed as his father turned back in his seat to slap his son's leg with his outstretched arm. It was hilarious.

"I got it from you, dad."

That got a giggle from Fredrik.

"All the Brits do." Aarne pointed out. "Even Joe falls over from it."

Mikkel snuggled against Fredrik, giggling and trying not to kick Mick. "The Troubadour has Mule. Ted can try it."

Which was a recipe for trouble. Wasn't that what they were here for?

Mick made sure he was out of kicking distance from Mikkel's long legs when Fredrik and him started snuggling and getting close. The car wasn't big enough for all these rowdy rockstars.

"I'd love to try it. Who's to say I won't be the last man standing after all you lot end up trashed under a table somewhere."

Mick just glancing at his dad then laughing because Ted was spouting total bullshit. Of course he'd be the first to fall down drunk trying the Scandi Mule for the first time. There was no way he'd be able to handle it. Mick couldn't so his dad wouldn't.

"How about we see who remains standing after drinking loads?"

Fredrik now wanting to see who could remain sober enough to remember the night.

Mikkel had found a comfortable place in Fredrik's lap and gave him a kiss while giggling. Mick's dad was like all the other Brits had been when they ran into Mule for the first time.

"Are we betting?" Mikkel asked curious while snorting giggles. "If we are, I'm putting my whole month's pay on Aarne."

The Fin was notorious for being able to outdrink most of everyone else, only Ziggy's family and Harald, sometimes Ivar or Vars, had any edge on him from that Mikkel had seen.

"I'll bet on my dad passing out on booze before any of us. Even me."

Mick laughing and getting a look from his father. Oh, this was war. Ted just snorted out and shook his head. No way was he going to be first mans standing to lose a bet on drinking.

"Fat chance of that, lad. I've got years of drinking experience. You'll be sliding under that table before any of the girls here, eh?"

Ted looking at Aarne and then back to where Mikkel was sitting with her boyfriend. Mick shook his head at his father.

"Fuck off will I pass out first."

Aarne nodded to Mick. "I believe it. He's cocky like Viktor."

And Gods know they had put Viktor under the table more than once with booze.

"You three boys will all be sliding under the table before us girls." Aarne knew even Fredrik typically passed out before Mikkel, especially when the Dane was this wound up and ready to go.

"I think it will be Ted, Mick, Fredrik, Mikkel and then Me." Aarne was pulling up to park while talking but Mikkel nodded in agreement. He could drink quite a bit but the Fin was on a whole other level.

"You and Joe drink as much as the rest of us, except maybe my brother and Hjalmar." Those four had to be the heaviest boozers on the tour, even compared to him, Fredrik, Karl, or Bjorn. Mikkel knew he wasn't going to be out drinking Aarne without some miracle. "Pull around back. We can go in the door for the dancers."

Mikkel had taken Sigurd and Fredrik back this way into clubs before, or more likely out these doors, especially when Sigurd got in one of his moods from watching the dancing.

"You wait lads---girls. I'll be the last bloke standing and won't that be a bloody laugh?"

Ted laughing and noticing Mick just face-palming at his father's cockiness because he was such a cocky bastard. He would get floored by the Scandis and everyone knew it. Mick looked out the car window and realised they were at the club and now going in via the back entrance.

"Ooh, we're going in the dancer entrance, are we? Should I get some moves on?"

Mick just wanting to smack his father for being a total idiot right now. Parents!

"You get moves on and everyone will leave the club, dad. You're such a fucking embarrassing bastard."

Ted clapped Mick on the head lightly as he waited for everyone else to get out.

"Aarne drinks gallons of Jack a day. You better start praying to your gods for that." Mikkel started to laugh as he climbed out of the car.

Mikkel wasn't as phased by Ted as Aarne joined him outside of the car. "If you want half naked girls laughing at you and calling you an idiot, go right ahead."

The girls and the bands that frequented the Troubadour were a little more aggressive, or at least sassier, than some of the other places. Ted would find out in a hurry if he acted like a fool backstage, which was where they were going in.

Mikkel walked away to talk to the guard at the back entrance and it is easy to see that the security knows him though they are exchanging words about who he is bringing along. As soon as they opened the back door there is a wall of sound. Laughing girls, one of which is screaming about Mikkel appearing in the door, and the more muted sounds of the glam band out on the stage in the actual club.

Mick was more worried about his father causing a scene and getting thrown out of the club by the bouncers or even getting arrested. It had happened back home in Mick's town and Ted Ronno was known to be a party goer and an out of control drunk.

"Listen to Aarne and Mikkel, dad. Don't show your ass to anyone and don't you start doing shitty moves."

The guitarist was teasing his father but did have a serious note in his voice because he didn't want this going south fast. Ted just ruffled up his son's hair and then kissed his forehead playfully.

"Relax, Mick. We're with the girls, they can show us around."

Mick now looking around hoping his dad would at least behave until they go to the bar. He was already staring at the half naked girls.

Mikkel glanced back at Ted. "It's illegal for men to strip. You'll get tossed out."

Aarne went in to find them a table and lead everyone out into the main club. They would end up going past the band dressing room too. Mikkel gave Ted a shove for staring.

"Most of them have men that will give you hell for gawking when they aren't working." He was serious and then had a panicked moment of Mick's father staring at him and Sigurd seeing it.

"Illegal? Well then, I won't bloody show my ass off then."

Mick just rolling his eyes at his father and clapping his hand on Ted's shoulder to steer him away from staring at the scantily clad girls. Honestly, the man needed to stop being a bloody dirty bastard!

"Don't start anything, dad. Behave. Mam will box your ears if she finds out you've been staring at young girls again. Like you did on the plane getting here."

Ted giggled a little and nodded. He'd chatted up the air hostess and got a wallop off Elsie.

Aarne was already out in the club scouting for a table while Mikkel walked with Ted, Mick and Fredrik. Height was helpful with how full this club was going to be.

When they slowed because of the people bustling as they got closer to the stage Mikkel was stopped by another young man he knew, a guitarist in one of the local bands. Like Mikkel he was tall, feminine and long haired. Drunkish and whispering to Mikkel about who he had brought along. Mikkel started to giggle when he commented on Mick and Ted and couldn't bear to tell him they were both taken. It would be too hilarious when they were both drunk. However, the young, feminine man was definitely looking over the two short blondes. The people here knew Fredrik was Mikkel's boyfriend and wouldn't do much than friendly stuff with him. The Dane would give them hell.

Mick spotted the tall, feminine boy first before his dad because Ted was still taking it all in, loving the atmosphere, as he'd never been to a LA club before. Fredrik nuzzled into the back of Mikkel's neck, kissing him, knowing the feminine boy before on a few meetings.

"Bloody hell, the legs on her too!"

Ted now noticing the girl whispering to Mikkel. Was she a dancer too? She had the legs for it. Mick now noticing his father taking interest in the new person. Oh god---did he even know he was a boy? Probably not.

"Oh, who have we got here? Who's the hot older man, Mikkel? He looks like he'd be a screamer if I blew him."

Mick just gaped. Oh fuck. This was not happening!

Sydney wasn't quite as tall as Mikkel but taller than Fredrik, especially in the heels he wore on stage. He wasn't playing tonight but here supporting a friend's band who was on stage. He had a serious L.A. accent being a California native.

Mikkel just giggled because one of the reasons they were friends was a mutual like of older men, but also their appreciation for being feminine and they had a similar style. Of course, Sydney was close to Mikkel though he didn't kiss on him like he did Fredrik, aside from a peck on the cheek or lip in greeting. They were close friends but not dating.

Mikkel had Fredrik's hand and took Sydney's hand to drag them over to Ted. "Do you mind if my friend Syn joins us?"

Sydney instantly slapped Mikkel playfully on the shoulder because he was nervous now. Mikkel still hadn't told him who this guy was though it did seem they were friends.

Ted didn't know what to make of the girl asking him for a blow but just assumed it was Mikkel's friend having a laugh. Of course it was. Mick just going wide-eyed but then calming down realising this Syn boy didn't mean anything by it. Ted though--he assumed Syn was another dancer girl.

"Nice to meet you, love. The more the merrier, eh Mick? Syn you say? Nice name. Stage? I'm Ted Ronno and this loveable rogue is my son, Mick. He's guitarist for Ziggy's band the Spiders from Mars."

Mick putting a hand out so that Syn could shake it if he wanted.

"Sydney." Which could be a girl or a boys name so that wouldn't clear the confusion up at all. He shook Mick's hand showing off the bright colored, long nails but he's still clinging to Mikkel. He's wild on stage and with friends but in person, and meeting new people Syn was on the shyer side.

Mikkel was loving being there between the two blondes and decided now was the time to kiss Fredrik's cheek and giggle. This was going to be trash. "Come get some drinks with us."

He could see Aarne waving them over to a table he had found.

Ted just assumed Sydney was her real name and "Syn" was her stage name. She was a looker though and he couldn't help but stare a little longer than intended. Mick noticed and steered his dad towards the bar.

"Sydney is a young lass, dad. Don't be such a dirty old man. Mam will slap you upside your head."

Mick now telling his dad off, which just caused the older man to laugh and ruffle up his son's hair. It wasn't his fault he was inside a bloody strip club full of leggy hot girls. What was a man to do! Fredrik wanted to get some drinks with Syn and Mikkel so kissed the Dane on the cheek and then laughed.

"We've got a bet on. Who can last the longest on booze tonight. Aarne reckons Ronno's dad will pass out first."
